Hair Care + Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a Hair Care + hair services subscription. By subscribing, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the subscriber) and VIVID Hair Studio Liverpool ("we", "us", "our").
Hair Care + subscription plans.
We offer subscription plans that entitle you to a set number of hair services per week, per month, or per year depending on the plan selected. Available plans can be found on our online platform.
Full details of each plan, including pricing and included services, are available in-salon and on our website. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription plans at any time, subject to reasonable notice.
Service allocation & non-accumulation policy.
Subscription services are allocated on a per-period basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc. as specified in your plan). The following conditions apply:
• Services are non-transferable between subscription periods. Unused services do not carry over to the following week or month.
• For example, if your plan entitles you to one blow dry per week and you do not use your appointment in a given week, you are not entitled to two blow dries in the following week.
• Each period's service allocation expires at the end of that period, regardless of whether the service was used.
• Services cannot be transferred to another person. Subscriptions are personal to the named subscriber only.
We strongly encourage subscribers to book their appointments in advance to make full use of their allocation.
Billing & payment.
Subscription fees are charged monthly. Payment is taken in advance at the start of each billing period.
• Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with Section 4.
• Payment must be made by the method agreed at the time of purchase (e.g. card on file, direct debit).
• If a payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend your subscription until payment is received.
• All prices include VAT where applicable.
We will provide advance notice of any changes to subscription pricing, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new rate takes effect.
Cancellation policy.
How to cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us in writing. Cancellation requests can be submitted:
• In person at the salon
• By email to: hello@lovefromvivid.com
• Via message services
Notice period.
A minimum notice period of 30 days is required for all cancellations. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the 30-day notice period.
During the 30-day notice period, your subscription will remain fully active and you will continue to receive your allocated services as normal. You will also continue to be billed for any billing periods that fall within the notice period.
Example: If you submit your cancellation request on 1st March, your subscription will remain active and fully usable until 31st March, after which no further charges will be taken and no further services will be provided.
Immediate cancellation.
We do not offer immediate cancellation outside of the notice period, except in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. If you believe you have grounds for an exception, please contact us directly to discuss.
Appointments & bookings.
• Subscribers must book appointments in advance through their preferred booking method.
• Subscription services are subject to salon availability. Having an active subscription does not guarantee appointment availability at your preferred time.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Our standard cancellation policy applies to individual bookings — please see our separate Appointment Cancellation Policy.
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in suspension or termination of your subscription.
Pausing & modifications.
Subscriptions cannot be paused or placed on hold unless we expressly agree to this in writing. If you are unable to use your subscription due to illness or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us to discuss your options.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any subscription plan at any time. Where we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice. In such cases, you will be entitled to cancel without serving the usual notice period.
Termination by us.
We reserve the right to terminate your subscription immediately, without refund, if you:
• Behave in a manner that is abusive, threatening, or disrespectful to our staff or other clients
• Attempt to misuse the subscription (e.g. allowing others to use your allocation)
• Breach any of these Terms and Conditions
In all other circumstances, we will provide 30 days' notice of termination.
Refunds.
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced, except where required by law. If we terminate your subscription without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid period on a pro-rata basis.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your subscription or use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
General.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
• We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be made available in-salon and on our website. Continued use of your subscription following notice of updated terms constitutes your acceptance.
• If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Salon closure – annual holidays.
We close for an annual holiday period of approximately two weeks each year. We will provide a minimum of 12 weeks' notice of any planned closure via email and / or message services.
Where a closure period falls within your active subscription, you will not be charged for any complete weeks affected by the closure. For any partial weeks affected, you may choose one of the following options:
Partial refund — a pro-rata refund will be applied to your next billing cycle, calculated based on the number of days your subscription was unavailable.
Service carry-over — the specific services missed due to the closure may be carried over and used within 8 weeks of the salon reopening. Carried-over services are in addition to your standard weekly allocation for that period.
Please note that this carry-over exception applies exclusively to salon-initiated closures and does not affect our standard non-accumulation policy (see Section 2).
To select your preferred option, please notify us by [email / in person] before the closure period begins. If we do not hear from you, [a refund / carry-over] will be applied automatically.
